We are celebrating Girl Scout Birthday this year along with Baby Basics. Baby Basics is our Council's annual campaign for collection of baby items to be given to teenage pregnancies, abuse victims, etc. This year we will be celebrating these events at Thunderskate on March 11, 2003 from 6pm - 8:30pm. Join our baby shower/birthday party for loads of fun.
Join Junior Troop #809 on November 12, 2002 at Thunderskate. Skating will be from 6pm-8:30pm. The cost is $4 for those skating and $1 for those not skating. Every admission gives you Door Prize tickets! We will also be collecting cans for Aquila's Annual Food Drive.

GirlSports Patch Program
Simply participate in any sport or fitness activity as a troop and earn a sports patch. Sports patches for 2002 are still available, so start your year off with fitness!
Daisy/Brownies - 3 hours
Juniors - 6 hours
Cadettes/Seniors - 9 hours
Last year Junior Troop #809 joined the YMCA Soccer League as a team. They had a great time and really learned to work together as a team. The YMCA was very receptive and encourages other troops to join in their sports. This year Troop #809 plans to join the YMCA cheerleading team.
